WhatsApp offers for your restaurant's regulars
Thaalo sends WhatsApp messages from your restaurant to guests who opted in: order updates and bills on their own, and offers when you choose. Pick who gets an offer, such as guests quiet for 30 days, write one line, and each guest gets a code they can use once. Thaalo then counts who came back.

Two kinds of message
Order updates and bills go out by themselves: a message when a pickup order is ready, and the bill when an order is served or delivered, or when a table's tab is settled. They go only to guests who ticked the WhatsApp box.
Offers are the messages you choose to send, to the guests you pick, when you decide.
An offer in four steps
Each step is a screen in Thaalo; none of it needs a spreadsheet.
- Pick who: guests quiet for a number of days, your top spenders, guests who ordered a dish, or everyone who opted in
- Write the offer line, like "dessert on us this week"; it goes into a Meta-approved message with the guest's first name
- The code: each offer gets a code that each guest's number can use once; uses by anyone else are counted separately
- The results: sent, delivered, read, who came back with the code and what they spent on those visits
How it is sent
Once your restaurant's WhatsApp number is connected to Thaalo through Meta, offers and updates go from that number. Until then you can still send offers: Thaalo opens WhatsApp on your phone with each guest's message typed in, one tap per guest, and ticks them off as you go.
The rules
Only guests who ticked the box get offers. Replying STOP opts them out; on a connected number this happens automatically, and when you send from your phone you mark them out in one tap. Meta approves message templates. Meta bills message costs to the restaurant.
Today that is about ₹0.86 for an offer and ₹0.12 for an order update or bill, before GST (Meta's rate card, July 2026). It is not bundled into your plan.
What is not built yet
Automatic win-back messages are coming. Today you press send: there is no scheduling or automatic sequence, and every offer goes out because you chose to send it.
Questions owners ask
Is this spam?
No. Offers go only to guests who ticked the WhatsApp box themselves, and a STOP reply takes them off. Meta also reviews every message template before it can be sent.
How much does each message cost?
Meta charges per message and bills the restaurant: about ₹0.86 for an offer and ₹0.12 for an order update or bill, before GST, as of July 2026.
Can I use the WhatsApp number I have today?
Connecting goes through Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform, and whether a number already in use can be moved depends on Meta's rules for that number. We check it with you before connecting. Until then, offers go from your phone.
Which plans can send offers?
Table and Chain. Order updates and bills work on every plan. Table is ₹1,499 a month.
