QR code menu for restaurants
Thaalo puts a QR code on every table. A guest scans it, your menu opens in their phone browser with no app or login, and they order from their seat. The order lands on your kitchen screen tagged with the table number. You change prices or mark items sold out in one tap, and the menu updates instantly.
What a guest sees after scanning
Your menu, by category, with a veg or non-veg mark, price and photo on each dish. Half and full, regular and large, and priced add-ons sit inside the dish, so the guest picks once instead of scrolling through five near-identical lines.
The page carries your logo, colours and photos, not ours. It opens in the browser that is already on the phone, loads over mobile data, and works the same on a ₹7,000 Android as on an iPhone.
Ordering from the table, not just reading
A PDF behind a QR code saves printing costs and nothing else: the guest still waves for a waiter. With Thaalo the scan opens a menu the guest can order from. The table is already selected, so the order reaches the kitchen knowing where it goes.
Guests can order in rounds. A second round of rotis goes on the same table's tab, and the table gets one bill at the end.

Keeping the menu true
Paneer finished at 9 pm? Mark it sold out from the staff phone and it greys out on every guest's screen straight away. Prices, new dishes, a lunch-only section or a breakfast menu that switches off at noon are all edits you make yourself, the same day, with no reprinting.
We build the first version of the menu for you from a photo of the printed one, usually the same day you send it.
Questions owners ask
Do guests need to download an app to use the QR menu?
No. The QR code opens the menu in the phone's own browser. There is no app and no account; guests type a name and phone number only when they place an order.
Can I use the QR menu only for viewing, without ordering?
Yes. On the Counter plan (₹999/month) the public menu page is browse-only and your staff take the order. On the Table plan guests order from the QR themselves.
What happens when an item runs out?
Staff mark it sold out with one tap and it greys out on every guest's menu at once, so nobody orders a dish the kitchen cannot make.
